Quantz Flute Quartets

First Edition and the World Premiere Recording of

The Six Quartets for Flute, Strings, and Continuo 
by Johann Joachim Quantz (1697–1773)

Quantz’s six flute quartets received their modern premiere performance during the 2003 Boston Early Music Festival.
